L'Augette:
We have stayed here on the way back to the UK. and found it to be the perfect
halfway stop between the North coast of France and our region. The food and the
company were excellent and the rooms were very comfortable. A pity we did not
stay longer to sightsee in the area.

A friendly family run affair on the banks of a canal
Maison Taupe: is
ideally placed for an overnight stop enroute the south being mid france we shall hopefully stop by this summer.
L'Hirondelle: a charming 19th century farmhouse, offering delightful bed & breakfast accommodation and a beautifully renovated 4-bedroomed luxury Gîte.
A
Poin: A very sympathetically restored Gascon farmhouse which can offer
either gites or bed and breakfast, The region is very picturesque and this looks
like an ideal place to base oneself to really get to know the area.
Chalet
Pyrène: Close to the French/Italian border this bed and breakfast is in a
region of great natural beauty and not far from the route Napoleon,
certainly a single overnight stay will not be sufficient!
Hotel le
Marronnier: A Hotel
run by enthusiastic Dutch owners in the Vercors region it looks lovely we shall
have to visit it!!!

A bed and Breakfast south of Clermont Ferrand within easy reach of many sites of
interest run by bikers for bikers
La
Croix au Vanneur: A beautifully restored luxury farmhouse ideally located
for those heading south from Cherbourg, or those wishing to holiday around the
northwest.
Les
Hirondelles: A Chambres d'hôtes with
a pool, 45 mins south of Poitiers, 40 mins north of Limoges. In a peaceful
village setting between Bellac and Confolens, king-size beds, good food, great
atmosphere an ideal mid france stopover enroute to the south.

french house midway between Cherbourg and the South with great hosts.
Pyrenees Holiday Accommodation
A beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse close to
Biarritz at the foot of the western pyrenees
Les Croisettes: This B+B is ideally located for those
heading south and avoiding Paris by passing to the west, Run by a couple who
make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Walking
in Brittany : For those that want to
see the rugged landscape of Brittany by foot and not have to ride everywhere
this place
seems pretty ideal to me
Chez
Rowen: Located in a lovely region this B+B has lost none of its
French ambience and is ideally located for day trips to
Futurescope or La Rochelle as well as other local treasures.
Cherry
Tree Bed and Breakfast: Located
south west of Limoges this B+B has a lovely atmosphere and looks ideal
for a relaxed stay in lovely surroundings, with many places of interest nearbye.
